This is an option for those that want doula support outside of assisting them in physical labor, birth, or postpartum. This offering includes the “Your Birth, Your Way” private class (see description below). We will also cover breastfeeding basics and work together to come up with a customized birth plan based on you and your family’s preferences. Following the above services I will act as a virtual doula providing a continuum of support, communication, and resources until the delivery of your little one.

  • Your Birth, Your Way! Private Childbirth Class ($350)

This private, in-home childbirth education course is both comprehensive and personal. We would cover this material in two separate three hour sessions.

I understand that people’s individual situations and life experiences will influence how they approach birth. Therefore my objective is to offer compassionate and personalized education for you and your partner. This course will allow you to collect all the information to make informed birth decisions and correlate a plan of action, prenatal through postpartum. You will feel confident and empowered; whether you plan to give birth at home, in a birth center, or hospital; whether your birth is spontaneous or an induction; whether a planned or unplanned cesarean.

In this class we will cover the following:

    • Place of Birth, Birth Team, and Birthing Rights

    • The Physiology of Late Pregnancy

    • The Stages of Labor

    • Coping Skills

    • Common Birth Interventions

    • Partner Support

    • The Fourth Trimester
